Every engagement starts with a conversation about where you are and what you need. From there, Boss Collective steps in at the level your situation requires, whether that means leading your entire event function or owning a single event from start to finish.
There are two ways to engage. Both bring the same caliber of senior leadership. The difference is scope.
This is how we work
Engagement Options
-
Your senior event leader. Without the full time hire.
When your organization needs VP-level event leadership, whether you are navigating an unexpected gap or building a smarter way to resource your events long term, this is the engagement that puts experienced, accountable leadership in place without adding a full time seat.
Jeanne comes in as your senior event leader. In the first thirty days she is assessing the landscape, reviewing budgets, contracts, and existing plans, meeting with your team, attending internal meetings, and getting full visibility into everything in motion. If something needs to be flagged, recalibrated, or addressed urgently, that happens immediately. Not at the next scheduled check in.
From there she operates as a true member of your leadership team. Weekly client updates. Eyes on every workstream. Decisions made at the right level so nothing stalls, drifts, or catches you off guard.
This engagement is right for you if:
Your organization is between senior event hires and cannot afford a gap in leadership. You have a signature event or portfolio that requires ongoing executive oversight. You are scaling your events function and need senior guidance without full time headcount.Minimum engagement: Three months.
-
Full ownership. Start to finish.
When you need someone to take full ownership of a single event, from wherever it currently stands all the way through execution, this is the engagement that puts senior leadership in charge of the entire production.Jeanne comes in and starts where you are. If the event has not been planned yet, she builds it from the ground up: drafting the event brief, establishing goals and objectives, identifying budget parameters, connecting with vendors, aligning internal stakeholders across marketing, finance, programming, and operations, and establishing the meeting cadences that keep everything moving.
If planning is already underway, she assesses what exists, identifies what needs to change, and takes the wheel from there.
Either way, she runs it. Weekly client updates keep you informed without pulling you into the weeds. As the engagement matures and the work stabilizes, those touchpoints adjust to what the situation actually requires. On site, she is the person in charge, running the program the way it needs to be run to deliver the result you need.
This engagement is right for you if:
You have a specific event that needs senior leadership from planning through execution. Your internal team does not have the bandwidth or seniority to own it at the level it requires. You need someone who can take it completely off your plate and deliver.Minimum engagement: This engagement requires a minimum of six months of runway. Boss Collective does not take on full executive event production with less than six months to the event date.
Book a Call. No Pitch. No Pressure.
If you are thinking about either of these engagements, the next step is a straight conversation. Tell us what is happening, where you are, and what you need. We will tell you honestly whether Boss Collective is the right fit.
